How it works
- Type your words. One box per line.
- Pick a letter style. Eight fonts, all made for cutting.
- Set the size. How tall each capital letter is, from 3 cm up.
- Order it. Pick 1.4mm or 3mm thick and add it to your cart.
1.4mm or 3mm?
1.4mmBends around curves, drums and fabric. The cheaper one, and right for a stencil you'll use a few times.
3mmStays flat on walls and floors, and lasts through lots of spraying and cleaning. The one to pick if you'll reuse it often.
Size and price
You never type in a sheet size. The stencil is your words plus some space around them, up to 120 × 120 cm, and the price changes as you type. A bigger sheet costs more, so less space around the words or a shorter line brings it down. A small one-line 1.4mm stencil starts at just over $26, GST included. Postage is added at checkout.
What it's made of
100% recycled polypropylene, a tough plastic that takes spray paint and washes clean. Every stencil is cut by a computer-controlled (CNC) cutter in Australia, following the exact outline of each letter, so a 3 cm letter on screen is 3 cm on the stencil.
Questions
Can I use my own font?
Not at the moment. The builder has eight stencil fonts. Each one has small bridges in letters like A, O and R, so the middle of the letter stays in place when it's cut. Gunplay is the default and holds up well at small sizes.
How small can the letters be?
3 cm tall, measured on a capital letter. Below that, the thin parts of a letter get too fine to cut and spray cleanly.
How long does delivery take?
We cut and pack your stencil in 5 to 7 business days after you pay, then post it. Postage time depends on where you are and is shown at checkout.
