Need Word or Number Stencils? Design Online Instantly

If you require a custom stencil consisting of standard text, names, numbers, or simple phrases, you do not need to wait for a manual design quote.

Our interactive Online Stencil Builder allows you to create your design instantly:

  • Type Your Text: Input any combination of letters, numbers, or custom phrases.
  • Select Your Size & Material: Choose your font height and select between 1.4mm or 3.0mm recycled polypropylene.
  • Instant Live Preview: See exactly how your stencil layout and margins will look before placing your order.

Our Simple 4-Step Custom Stencil Process (For Logos & Bespoke Designs)

For complex artwork, logos, or specialty shapes, our team handles the digital preparation and precision routing in-house.

  1. Submit Your Artwork
Upload your logo, drawing, text, or specifications using our quote form. Let us know your preferred dimensions and the surface you plan to mark.
  2. Technical Design & CAD Prep
Each custom stencil is designed digitally by one of our expert CNC designers to ensure that your stencil is a match to your requirements. We add stable “bridges” to prevent the inner details of letters and shapes from falling out.
  3. Precision CNC Cutting
Your stencil is cut using industrial CNC routers. This process delivers perfectly clean, un-melted edges in your choice of recycled polypropylene or high-strength aluminium.
  4. Swift Australia-Wide Dispatch
Once quality-checked, your custom stencil is safely packed flat and shipped via our courier network directly to your project site or business address.

Why CNC Routing is Superior to Laser Cutting for Custom Stencils

Many clients search for laser cut stencils, assuming laser processing is the only way to achieve precision. However, when manufacturing stencils from synthetic plastics like polypropylene, CNC routing is the superior method:

  • No Melted Edges: Laser cutters use high heat, which melts the edges of polypropylene. This creates raised, rough plastic lips along the cut lines that prevent the stencil from laying completely flat, causing paint bleed.
  • Perfect Lay-Flat Performance: Our precision CNC routing tools physically cut through the material without heat. This preserves the structural integrity of the plastic, ensuring a perfectly flat stencil and a razor-sharp painted finish.
  • Deep Solvent Resistance: Unlike laser-charred edges that degrade over time, CNC-routed edges stay clean and smooth, meaning dried paint can easily be peeled off or cleaned with standard solvents for hundreds of reuses.

Custom Stencil Options Designed for Your Application

Custom Logo Stencils & Brand Signage

Build your brand on-site by applying your logo to shipping crates, product packaging, concrete pathways, or corporate facility walls. Our CAD specialists can translate complex corporate branding, symbols, and custom fonts into clean, durable spray-paint templates.

Large-Scale Custom Stencils

We regularly manufacture extra-large custom stencils for parking lots, airfield runways, civil roadwork, and warehouse safety zoning. For exceptionally large designs, our CNC router produces interlocking multi-sheet stencil layouts that assemble easily on-site.

Multi-Colour & Multi-Layer Stencils

We also provide custom stencils for multi-colour applications. For these we divide your design into a number of layers so that each colour can be applied separately. By spraying one layer at a time with different colours, you can produce complex, multi-coloured layouts with clean registration.

Polypropylene Sheet

Choose the Right Material for Your Project

Our custom stencils are cut from industrial-grade, highly durable materials designed to handle repeated spray painting, rolling, and solvent cleaning.

  • 1.4mm Recycled Polypropylene: Highly flexible, lightweight, and synthetic. Ideal for standard marking, walls, curved columns, crates, and general-purpose repeat use. Made from 100% recycled materials.
  • 3.0mm Recycled Polypropylene: Recommended for larger stencils due to the extra rigidity. It is the preferred standard for professional line marking contractors who require a lay-flat template that resists wind lift and heavy overspray.
  • Premium Sheet Aluminium: For your custom stencils, we can also manufacture from aluminium sheet material where high strength is required. Exceptional longevity for ongoing civil projects and industrial painting lines.

Artwork & File Guidelines

To ensure the fastest turnaround time on your quote, please submit your designs using the following preferred formats:

  • Vector Formats (Preferred): .AI, .EPS, .DXF, .SVG, or vector-based .PDF. (Vector files allow us to program the CNC router immediately).
  • Image Formats: High-resolution .PNG, .JPG, or digital drawings. If you only have a flat image, our design team can digitally recreate and convert it to vector paths for a small setup fee.
